I love this place order with doordash take out or delivery is always fresh it's always good. Sometimes customers there can be a little weird so I don't recommend dining in the restaurant
Delicious amazing everything we tried was outstanding no complaints plenty of parking! We had a double burger, gyro and onion rings onion rings with the bbq and honey mustard was outstanding definitely coming back to try more of their items on their menu!

Traditional Chicago grill food done right. Sammie's has been a local favorite for a long time now and they never fail to please. Always great tasting food with reasonable prices and friendly customer service in an always clean/sanitized cozy venue. Regardless of location, don't know what it is but Sammie's has always stood out from your typical Chicago grill and is closer to the top over most I've been to. They keep servin' up that delicious grub with a smile and this guy will keep coming back for more.
I had occasion to visit Sammie's in Greyslake because I took a job in nearby Libertyville. I stopped by looking for either soup, or chili. They didn't have soup at the moment, so I ordered the chili. The portion was good, the price was reasonable, the service was quick, the staff is friendly, and the customers are respectable and conversational. I fully intend on visiting Sammie's again after work to try out some of the other items on their menu.
The food was great. They have been in business for over 30 years. I have been there several times in the past, still a great place to stop for a bite!
